On November 21, 1991 I boarded a plane and spent the night traveling to San Antonio, TX.  It was an interesting beginning to six (6) weeks of Basic Military Training.  I spent Thanks Giving, Christmas, and New Years in Basic Training on Lackland Air Force Base.
